Cybersecurity Policy / IA Program Analyst
Job Description
The Cybersecurity Policy / IA Program Analyst will support a DHS information technology support services program in Washington, DC, with a focus on cybersecurity governance, assessment and authorization (A&A), and information assurance program support. The role contributes to policy and documentation development, training materials, and stakeholder-facing portal content while assisting with accreditation support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, tracking tools, user and operator training guides, and process guides supporting information assurance governance aligned to established DHS, federal, and DoD cybersecurity policies.
- Coordinate with multiple government stakeholders to produce documentation such as memoranda, process guides, Interconnection Security Agreements (ISAs), and Memoranda of Understanding (MOU).
- Create and update portal or webpage content using stakeholder-relevant information drawn from DoD, federal, and agency policies to support cybersecurity operations.
- Support the development and ongoing management of a centralized training tracking system.
- Assist Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) in reviewing and updating information system management guides, policy development, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) required for accreditation.
- Develop training briefs and process documentation that support cybersecurity governance, standards, and compliance.
- Support standardization of cybersecurity processes and templates across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, information assurance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum four (4) years of information assurance experience, with emphasis on cybersecurity policy development, training guide and process guide development, and governance documentation.
- Experience collaborating with government stakeholders to create policy, process, and agreement documentation, including accreditation-related SOPs and management guides.
- Active/current certifications to qualify for both DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level 2 and IAM Level 2.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of data governance and data framework compliance.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

Compensation and Location
- Location: Washington, DC (onsite)
- Salary: USD 76,000 to 106,000 per year
