Job Description

TekSynap is seeking a Cybersecurity Policy Analyst to review, consolidate, and develop cybersecurity policy (with government approval) and to provide technical support to programs. This role is contingent on contract award and government approval.

Location and Work Environment

  • Location: Columbus, OH (onsite)
  • Client/Facility: DLA Land and Maritime, Columbus, OH
  • Environment type: Office
  • Noise level: Low
  • Work schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday. Evening and weekend support may be requested to meet program and contract needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, consolidate, and develop cybersecurity policy in accordance with applicable requirements, with government approval.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to programs.
  • Assess IT policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to support a balance of security and operational needs.
  • Brief senior management on cybersecurity policy changes, updates, and progress.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Seven (7) years of relevant cybersecurity policy experience.
  • DoD policy implementation support: Experience with the general tenets supporting the overall DoD implementation of its cybersecurity policies, procedures, and process.
  • CSSP analyst requirement: CSSP Analyst (one of these).
  • Clearance: Top Secret, IT-I.

Security and Work Authorization

  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
  • Clearance eligibility: Top Secret (IT-I) and eligible for SCI

  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • CyberSec First Responser (CFR)
  • Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+ (CySA+)
  • CompTIA Cloud+
  • CompTIA PenTest+
  • GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)
  • GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
  • Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)

Salary

  • Target range: USD 130,000 - 200,000 per year
  • Compensation basis: Wage information listed as a target salary range
