Cybersecurity Platform Engineer

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Platform Engineer to design, build, and secure a container platform that leverages cloud capabilities to meet client needs. This senior DevOps role emphasizes strategy, design, and hands-on execution to advance containerization across enterprise environments from an onsite base at Hanscom Air Force Base.

Responsibilities

• DevOps engineer focused on building, operating, and securing a container platform aligned with client requirements and cloud capabilities.
• Develop container management software to address complex client challenges.
• Apply senior-level platform DevOps expertise to drive mission-forward outcomes.
• Utilize the latest cloud technologies to enhance the client environment with current container software and seamless orchestration.
• Leverage DevOps experience to shape strategy and design while enforcing standards throughout containerization efforts.
• Recommend resources to help clients manage and securely adopt container technologies.
• Continue strengthening DevOps skills while contributing to the development of critical cloud platforms.
• Contribute to the responsible use of cloud platform technology to support client missions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing tools and processes to mature DevOps or DevSecOps through automated builds, regression testing, monitoring, and releasing across environments.
• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and resolving CI/CD pipeline failures or performance issues.
• Experience delivering enterprise cloud-native solutions.
• Experience developing, managing, and securing containers.
• Experience collaborating with application development teams across the software lifecycle to solve complex problems in a collaborative setting.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years of DevOps experience in lieu of a degree.

Work model

Compensation

Salary range: USD 77,600 to 176,000 per year. This posting closes within 90 days from the posting date.
