Cybersecurity Engineer with Splunk
Job Description
Donnelly & Moore Corporation seeks an onsite Cybersecurity Engineer in New York City to focus on Splunk Enterprise Security and Trend Micro. The role is a 12+ month contract with a four-day-per-week onsite schedule and a rate of USD 65 per hour, combining hands-on security engineering with cross-team collaboration to strengthen enterprise defenses.
Responsibilities
- Implement and sustain enterprise cybersecurity technologies across the organization.
- Configure, operate, and patch security controls to maintain optimal protection.
- Support infrastructure upgrade initiatives as part of security programs.
- Prepare technical documentation and runbooks to standardize operations.
- Advise on deployment architecture and security best practices for projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on implementation efforts.
- Provide on-call support as required to address security incidents or outages.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of relevant IT or cybersecurity experience.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities, both written and spoken.
- Capacity to perform after-hours maintenance and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a NERC CIP Personnel Risk Assessment.
- Willingness to work onsite in New York City at least four days per week.
