Cybersecurity Engineer - Vulnerability Scanning
Job Description
Electrosoft Services Inc is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer focused on vulnerability scanning to support information systems throughout the engineering lifecycle. In this DoD environment, the role combines security-engineering support with ongoing responsibility for maintaining and supporting vulnerability scanning solutions.
Working onsite in Columbus, OH, the position emphasizes analyzing information security requirements and providing hands-on engineering contributions across planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration activities.
Role Overview
- Provide security-engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.
- Support analysis of information security requirements.
- Perform routine project tasks applied to specialized cybersecurity problems.
- Maintain and support vulnerability scanning solutions in a DoD environment.
Required Experience and Clearance
- Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
- DoD Secret Clearance.
- Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at the time of proposal submission.
- Four (4) years of experience maintaining vulnerability scanning solutions in a DoD environment.

- Primary DCWF Work Role 521: Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support (Proficiency Level: Intermediate).
- Secondary DCWF Work Role 451: System Administrator (Proficiency Level: Intermediate).

Compensation and Location
- Location: Columbus, OH (onsite)
- Pay Range: $120,000 - $130,000 USD per year
