Cybersecurity Engineer - Vulnerability Scanning
Job Description
Electrosoft is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer focused on vulnerability scanning to deliver security-engineering support throughout the lifecycle of information systems. The position operates in a DoD environment and emphasizes analysis of security requirements and problem resolution.
Role Overview
This role provides engineering support across planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems. The engineer will help interpret and analyze information security requirements and support cybersecurity problem-solving activities, including resolving total system issues and technology issues that relate directly to cybersecurity requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine project tasks tailored to specialized cybersecurity problems.
- Analyze information security requirements to support engineering and integration efforts.
- Use analytical and systematic approaches to resolve issues related to workflow, organization, and planning.
- Provide security-engineering support spanning planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.
- Resolve total system problems and technology problems as they relate to cybersecurity requirements.
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
- DoD Secret Clearance.
- Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at the time of proposal submission.
- Primary DCWF Work Role 521: Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support; Proficiency Level: Intermediate.
- Secondary DCWF Work Role 451: System Administrator; Proficiency Level: Intermediate.
- Computing Environment: ACAS Administrator.
- Four (4) years of experience maintaining vulnerability scanning solutions in a DoD environment.

Location and Compensation

Salary: USD 120,000 - 130,000 per year.
