Cybersecurity Engineer - ForeScout

The Cybersecurity Engineer role focuses on security-engineering support throughout the information system lifecycle, with responsibilities spanning requirements analysis and system integration in a DoD environment. The position is based in Richmond, VA (onsite) and requires an active DoD Secret clearance plus IT-I Critical Sensitive or Tier 5 (T5) status at the time of proposal submission.

Role Overview

In this position, you will perform routine project tasks for specialized cybersecurity problems, including analyzing information security requirements and providing security-engineering support across planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems. You will also apply analytical and systematic methods to support resolution of workflow, organizational, and planning challenges connected to cybersecurity requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized cybersecurity problems.
• Analyze information security requirements.
• Use analytical and systematic approaches to resolve issues related to workflow, organization, and planning.
• Provide security-engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.
• Integrate electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, including technology problems tied to cybersecurity requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
• DoD Secret clearance.
• Must possess IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5) at the time of proposal submission.
• DCWF Work Role 521: Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support; Proficiency Level: Intermediate.
• DCWF Work Role 441: Network Operations Specialist; Proficiency Level: Intermediate.
• ForeScout Certified Administrator (FSCA) computing environment/proficiency.
• Four (4) years of experience maintaining Comply to Connect solutions in a DoD environment.
