Cybersecurity Engineer - AI Trainer
Job Description
DataAnnotation invites a remote contract Cybersecurity Engineer - AI Trainer to contribute to secure AI systems by evaluating AI-generated security content, designing security-focused challenges, and delivering feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI security models.
Responsibilities
- Assess AI-produced cybersecurity content, including threat analyses, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, for accuracy and real-world relevance.
- Design and solve technical security problems used to train AI systems, ensuring they effectively reinforce AI safety in cybersecurity contexts.
- Produce clear technical explanations and contribute security-focused code to support model training and evaluation.
- Offer actionable feedback that directly informs the development of future AI security models and defenses.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in roles such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related fields, including government or military cyber operations.
- Some coding experience is required; comfort navigating and patching a codebase is essential.
- Fluency in English with strong writing skills (native or bilingual level).
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Cybersecurity certifications are a plus (for example OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or similar).
