Job Description

Responsibilities
- Provide security engineering support across the full system lifecycle, from planning and design to development, testing, demonstration, and integration.
- Integrate cybersecurity processes, tools, and methodologies to resolve system-wide or technology-specific security challenges.
- Deploy modern security solutions, including blockchain technologies and advanced cryptographic approaches.
- Analyze information security requirements for new and existing systems.
- Ensure systems and workflows comply with DoD cybersecurity standards and policies.
- Evaluate technical solutions to identify security gaps, risks, and mitigations.
- Apply analytical and systematic methods to address challenges related to workflow, organization, and planning.
- Use structured approaches to investigate and resolve cybersecurity issues within complex environments.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls required under DoD 8570.01.
- Operate as a DLP Administrator, ensuring compliance within the defined Computing Environment and IA Role/Function.
Requirements
- DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certifications (for example CISSP, CompTIA Security+) and CNDSP-IS requirements (such as CySA+, CASP+)
- Computing Environment Certification: DLP Administrator
- Minimum seven years of relevant IT experience
- Hands-on experience implementing modern security solutions (for example blockchain and advanced cryptography)

- IAT Level II certification (required)
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) certification (required)

Fully remote with frequent travel to Columbus, OH and/or Richmond, VA as needed.
