CYBERSECURITY ENGINEER
Job Description
CGI is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to address complex information assurance (IA) challenges by applying electronic processes and structured methodologies. This position supports the cybersecurity engineering lifecycle across planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems at client sites in Richmond, VA or Washington, D.C., while working from the Columbus, OH office.
Role Focus
The role emphasizes analysis of information security requirements and the application of systematic approaches to resolve cybersecurity-related workflow, organization, and planning challenges. The Cybersecurity Engineer will also provide security engineering support throughout the delivery lifecycle for client information systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform a range of routine project tasks tailored to specialized cybersecurity problems.
- Integrate electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system issues or technology problems connected to cybersecurity requirements.
- Analyze information security requirements to support engineering decisions.
- Use analytical and systematic methods to address issues involving workflow, organization, and planning.
- Provide security engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.
- Coordinate the identification, prioritization, and protection of critical cyber defense infrastructure and key resources.
Required Qualifications
- Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Relevant certification meeting DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III (one of the listed certifications).
- Relevant certification meeting DoD 8570/8140 CND-IS (one of the listed certifications).
- Experience supporting the identification, prioritization, and coordination of protection for critical cyber defense infrastructure and key resources.
- Ability to perform tasks as written within the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (NICE Framework).
- Example behavioral indicator / task permutation demonstrating performance of this task at an Intermediate skills proficiency level.

Compensation and Location
Compensation is listed as USD 127,500 to USD 251,100 per year. The position is based in Columbus, OH with onsite work, supporting client sites in Richmond, VA or Washington, D.C.
