Cybersecurity Cloud Subject Matter Expert

Electrosoft Services Inc is seeking a Cybersecurity Cloud Subject Matter Expert to support secure operations for cloud-hosted IT systems and help teams align with DoD requirements. This onsite role in Columbus, OH pairs hands-on cloud security guidance with assessment and deployment support, focused on improving cloud security policy, posture, and compliance readiness.

Compensation: $120,000 - $125,000 USD per year
Location: Columbus, OH (onsite)

What you’ll do

• Ensure the architecture and design of cloud-hosted IT systems are secure and meet DoD requirements.
• Review cloud security policies and recommend improvements to strengthen cloud security posture and support protection, detection, monitoring, and response for systems and data.
• Apply knowledge of current advances in cloud security engineering and cloud security threats to provide guidance for the deployment of programs and applications.
• Provide input across the deployment process so systems meet DoD compliance requirements.
• Support assessment efforts by providing guidance to assessment staff conducting Cybersecurity Vulnerability Assessments for cloud hosting environments.

What you bring

• Two (2) years of experience achieving ATO in a cloud environment (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Five (5) years of experience achieving ATO for compartment DoD IT systems.
• DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at the time of proposal submission.
• Primary DCWF Work Role 521: Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support.
• Secondary DCWF Work Role 441: Network Operations Specialist.
• Cloud Security Certification in OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP computing environment.
• Proficiency Level: Intermediate.
