Job Description
Join DXC Technology in Newark, Delaware as a Tier 2 Cybersecurity Analyst with an onsite focus. This role supports complex incident identification, analysis, and response, with shift work structured around fixed 12-hour shifts (2-2-3 schedule, no rotation). You will work with AI-driven detection and response capabilities, collaborate across threat intelligence and stakeholders, and contribute to incident response playbooks and escalation processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead in-depth investigations of escalated security alerts coming from SIEM and other security sources.
- Use AI-driven analytics and automation tools to speed up threat detection, enrich investigations, and support better decisions during active incident response.
- Coordinate incident response activities with Threat Intelligence, vendors, and relevant stakeholders to assess risk and respond effectively.
- Advise clients on technical countermeasures and provide updates during active incidents.
- Maintain and improve incident response playbooks and processes to strengthen repeatable execution.
- Follow and support escalation procedures while meeting service level expectations.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and certifications.
- Experience with SIEM/SOAR tools, log analysis, and cyber threat investigations.
- Knowledge of AI concepts and how AI is applied within cybersecurity operations; hands-on experience with AI-driven tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
