Cybersecurity Analyst

Protected Trust seeks a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor, assess, and strengthen the security of business systems and digital infrastructure from an onsite location in Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor systems and networks for potential security threats
• Review and analyze security alerts; investigate suspicious activities
• Identify vulnerabilities and recommend security improvements
• Assist with security assessments and risk analysis
• Support incident response activities and investigation procedures
• Review security logs and monitoring reports to support detection and analysis
• Help maintain security policies and technical documentation
• Support access control and identity management practices
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve infrastructure security
• Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends

Requirements

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and information security
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and security monitoring
• Understanding of network security, firewalls, and access controls
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and risk management
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments
• Understanding of incident response procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and documentation skills
