Cybersecurity Analyst

Centuria is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support the mission of the 66th Air Base Group at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts. In this onsite role, you will help secure information and information systems by delivering Information Assurance and cybersecurity services aligned to applicable Federal, Department of Defense, and U.S. Air Force requirements.

Working as part of the 66 ABG Communications and Information Division (66 ABG/SC), this position supports both direct actions for Hanscom Air Force Base and geographically separated units, and indirect actions that contribute to the broader Air Force Information Network (AFIN) enterprise. Solutions for the program are expected to emphasize integration, flexibility, AFIN knowledge, and technical expertise.

What you’ll do

• Provide Information Assurance guidance and support to the customer community in accordance with Federal, DoD, and U.S. Air Force Information Assurance programs.
• Help ensure applicable systems, networks, and computing environments meet security requirements and that security risks are properly mitigated.
• Deliver technical and programmatic Information Assurance and Cyber Security services in support of system-level certification and accreditation processes.
• Track and manage open security-related problem reports and drive fixes to resolution.
• Support Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and re-accreditation requirements.
• Maintain configuration management documentation for systems, networks, computing systems, and hardware; support account creation/management/processing and DLP activities.
• Contribute to cybersecurity projects as required.
• Provide support for Classified Message Incidents.
• Review Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) alerts, bulletins, and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to support implementation and remediation within customer environments.
• Perform Staff Assistant Visits and provide reach-back support with appointed ISSOs.
• Support the maintenance of a comprehensive network security policy, including firewall exceptions.
• Create, review, and update standard operating procedures and AF Checklists.
• Review FFRDC System Security Plans and provide support as needed.
• Assist with TEMPEST certification for Classified Processing Areas.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Air Force, DoD, and applicable Federal Information Assurance/Cyber Security directives and instructions.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity within the RMF process and Cyber Defense.
• Ability to capture and report metrics.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint.
• Working knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10/Windows 11).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with Excel proficiency required.
• Working knowledge of a Remedy ticketing system.
• Secret level DoD security clearance required; ability to obtain clearance with a waiver is possible if background check shows potential.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required, valid on the first day of employment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent with 3+ years of experience relevant to the skills above. An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for the degree.
• TEMPEST Certification preferred.
