Job Description
Stratus Services, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to support cybersecurity and compliance initiatives, with emphasis on CMMC and NIST-based frameworks. This onsite role helps assess, implement, and maintain security controls for internal systems and client environments to support compliance with federal and industry standards.

Compensation
- Salary: USD 65,000 - 85,000 per year
Summary
In this role, you will assist with cybersecurity operations and compliance support, focusing on security control assessment and maintenance across client tenants. The position supports CMMC- and NIST-aligned requirements while contributing to the documentation and operational readiness needed for audits and evidence collection.
Responsibilities
- Support and administer Azure environments, including VMs, virtual networks, storage, Entra ID, and resource groups across client tenants
- Manage Intune device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and app deployments, including troubleshooting when issues arise
- Support Microsoft Defender for Endpoint by onboarding devices, monitoring alerts, and escalating or resolving issues as appropriate
- Assist with Azure Virtual Desktop operations, including session host management, FSLogix profile troubleshooting, and image updates
- Assist with Conditional Access and MFA configuration and troubleshooting in Entra ID
- Write basic PowerShell scripts for routine tasks and use existing automation to handle repetitive work
- Document configurations, update runbooks, and maintain current records
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers with clear, organized notes on prior actions and results
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Certification: CompTIA Security+ (required) or equivalent certification
- Experience: 1-3 years in cybersecurity, IT security, or compliance-related roles
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of risk management principles
- Tool familiarity: Familiarity with SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners, and MFA solutions
- Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
