Job Description
Cyber Systems Security Engineer role at Lockheed Martin RMS in Fort Walton Beach, FL onsite, focusing on cyber resiliency for the Space Fence radar.
Responsibilities
- Strengthen and harden operating systems, applications, and network devices
- Perform vulnerability assessments through scans
- Ongoing monitoring of the system's security posture
- Support government CT&E activities and vulnerability testing
- Apply security updates and patches
- Make configuration changes to ESS, ACAS, and SolarWinds security tools
- Support the Certification and Accreditation process and RMF package maintenance
- Support admins, engineers, and operators during troubleshooting events
- Collaborate with system stakeholders to sustain cybersecurity posture
- Interface with the ISSO and other government security stakeholders
- Provide support for the Security Impact Analysis process by producing CDRLs and RMF artifacts for both unclassified and classified networks
Requirements
- Demonstrated cybersecurity engineering or systems administration experience
- Proficient with Linux and/or Windows operating environments
- IAT Level II certification or higher (examples: CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance prior to starting; US citizenship required
- Up to 10% travel to customer sites across the U.S.
