Job Description

Cyber Systems Security Engineer role at Lockheed Martin RMS in Fort Walton Beach, FL onsite, focusing on cyber resiliency for the Space Fence radar.

Responsibilities

  • Strengthen and harden operating systems, applications, and network devices
  • Perform vulnerability assessments through scans
  • Ongoing monitoring of the system's security posture
  • Support government CT&E activities and vulnerability testing
  • Apply security updates and patches
  • Make configuration changes to ESS, ACAS, and SolarWinds security tools
  • Support the Certification and Accreditation process and RMF package maintenance
  • Support admins, engineers, and operators during troubleshooting events
  • Collaborate with system stakeholders to sustain cybersecurity posture
  • Interface with the ISSO and other government security stakeholders
  • Provide support for the Security Impact Analysis process by producing CDRLs and RMF artifacts for both unclassified and classified networks

Requirements

  • Demonstrated cybersecurity engineering or systems administration experience
  • Proficient with Linux and/or Windows operating environments
  • IAT Level II certification or higher (examples: CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance prior to starting; US citizenship required
  • Up to 10% travel to customer sites across the U.S.

Travel Requirements

  • Travel to Moorestown, NJ – SFS Systems Integration Laboratory
  • Travel to Space Operations Center, Eglin AFB Site C6, FL
  • Potential travel with US Passport to Sensor Site 1, Kwajalein Atoll, Royal Marshall Islands
