Responsibilities
- Support the administration and maintenance of Privileged Access Management PAM technologies and related infrastructure.
- Assist in identifying privileged access risks and help implement security controls and PAM best practices.
- Participate in security incident response activities involving privileged accounts and access management systems.
- Review and test PAM technologies and system changes to ensure alignment with security requirements and standards.
- Configure, implement, and maintain PAM solutions used to secure privileged accounts, credentials, and privileged sessions.
- Support onboarding of privileged accounts, password vaulting, credential rotation, and lifecycle management processes.
- Assist with integrating PAM platforms with enterprise applications, cloud environments, and IAM solutions to support least-privilege access controls.
- Design, develop and maintain integrations, APIs, connectors, and automation workflows.
- Monitor PAM platform performance and assist in troubleshooting to maintain service availability and compliance.
- Support session monitoring, audit logging, and reporting capabilities to meet security and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in platform upgrades, testing activities, proof-of-concept evaluations, and system enhancements.
- Assist with implementing PAM functionality including credential vaulting, session management, and password rotation.
- Support the execution of PAM policies, standards, and procedures to ensure governance and security compliance.
- Assist with privileged account provisioning, deprovisioning, and credential management activities.
- Conduct periodic access reviews and support monitoring to identify unusual or unauthorized privileged account activity.
- Escalate identified security risks and support remediation efforts in coordination with the cybersecurity team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Security or related technical field; or, if no bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Security or related field.
- Strong familiarity with PAM capabilities, practices, and concepts.
- Hands-on technical individual, performing IT security functions and maintaining systems.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision; excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent leadership, technical teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to foster working relationships with the team, management, and client departments.
- Department of Energy’s regulation 10 CFR 810 is required.
