Job Description

DataAnnotation is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer - AI Trainer to support the training of AI models focused on cybersecurity. The role centers on reviewing AI-generated cybersecurity content, assessing whether it holds up in real-world scenarios, and supplying feedback that helps guide the next generation of AI security model reasoning.

This contract position is remote with flexible scheduling, letting you work based on the projects you choose from your own computer.

Responsibilities

  • Review AI-generated cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, to verify real-world accuracy and validity.
  • Design and solve security-focused technical problems that are used to train AI systems.
  • Create clear technical explanations along with security-relevant code.
  • Provide feedback that directly influences how future AI security models reason.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or closely related work, including government or military cyber operations.
  • Coding experience is required, with comfort navigating and patching a codebase.
  • English fluency at native or bilingual level, with strong writing skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Cybersecurity certifications are a plus, such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar.
