Responsibilities
- Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring across all security controls, configurations, and processes to evaluate the security posture of information systems
- Assess systems and networks within the enclave to identify deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy
- Analyze security requirements and recommend additional safeguards and requirements
- Assist in implementing government policy, tailor processes as needed, and document activities
- Operate within program control processes to mitigate risks and support the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems, including analysis, coordination, testing, documentation, investigations, and audits
- Support formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) activities required by accrediting authorities, including pre-test preparations, test participation, results analysis, and report preparation
- Document A&A results and related activities, and assemble the Risk Management Framework body of evidence
Requirements
- Master's degree with 0 years of relevant technical experience; or Bachelor's degree with 2 years; or Associate's degree with 4 years; or High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant technical experience
- Must meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements (8570 equivalent) for a Classified Cybersecurity Analyst IAM Level I certification, examples include Security+, CND, or Cloud+
- Current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (minimum), with a closed investigation date within the last 6 years, or enrollment in the Continuous Evaluation program

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Security+ CE, and 3 years of experience in information assurance, certification and accreditation, and cybersecurity within JSIG classified environments
- Experience with cybersecurity compliance activities such as RMF-based Assessment & Authorization
- Familiarity with security tools (ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, SCAP)
- Knowledge of security frameworks and documentation including NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms, and SCTMs
- SAP/SAR access is preferred
