The Application Security Analyst role at Infosys, onsite in Richardson, TX, centers on gathering requirements, design discussions, coding, testing, integration, monitoring, and documentation within an agile SDLC framework.

Role Overview

The position involves collaborating across disciplines to translate stakeholder needs into actionable software specifications, contribute to design decisions, and deliver code accompanied by thorough testing and documentation to support ongoing system maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Support focused interviews and workshops to elicit user needs and ensure precise documentation of stakeholder requirements.
  • Engage in design discussions to capture software specifications and assist in producing process documentation.
  • Create, refine, and document code for new software applications in line with detailed design specifications to satisfy user requirements.
  • Execute testing plans, analyze results, and log defects with the development team to improve software performance.
  • Assist with integrating new software features to enable seamless transitions within the existing system landscape.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, resolving issues promptly and generating comprehensive documentation for ongoing maintenance.
  • Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions in a systematic manner to enrich the team's knowledge repository.

Assigned Area of Responsibility (Technology Consultant 1)

  • Assist with focused interviews and workshops to elicit user needs and document stakeholder requirements with accuracy.
  • Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and help prepare process documentation.
  • Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications in accordance with detailed design specs to satisfy user needs.
  • Carry out testing plans, analyze results, and report defects to the development team to support software performance improvements.
  • Support integration of new software features to ensure seamless transitions within the current system architecture.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot live applications to ensure timely issue resolution and produce thorough documentation for ongoing maintenance.
  • Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions in a structured manner to enrich the team's knowledge base.
