Job Description

MANTECH is seeking an Acquisition Security Analyst I for a full-time, on-site role in El Segundo, CA (Los Angeles, CA area). This position supports Government Program Manager efforts to develop and implement program protection methodologies across the system lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth lifecycle program analysis to identify critical program information (CPI), critical system resources (CSR), and associated vulnerabilities.
  • Support the identification and implementation of countermeasures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Create and implement risk management-based program protection plans and strategic security frameworks.
  • Provide technical guidance and operational security support to collateral, Special Access Programs (SAP), and emerging mission areas.
  • Deliver security recommendations to Program Managers and security authorities related to Air Force acquisition and sustainment processes.
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships to support standardized utilization of DD Form 254 efforts across the program lifecycle.
  • Prepare, review, and edit key security documentation, including Security Classification Guides (SCG), Security Operating Procedures (SOPs), and OPSEC plans.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area, or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • 4+ years of related experience supporting acquisition programs, including a minimum of 2 years with SCI or SAR programs.
  • Familiarity with government security policies, manuals, and applicable ICDs, JAFANs, or DoD guidelines.
  • Extensive knowledge of the DD Form 254 and how it integrates into the Air Force acquisition process.
  • Working knowledge of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) markings, classifications, and distribution statements.
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and coordinate effectively with DoD, military, civilian, and industry partners.
  • Strong initiative, originality, and creativity while working with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel within the Program’s Area of Responsibility (AOR) using air and ground transportation.
  • Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information, and the ability to maintain SAP access eligibility.
  • Willingness to submit to a polygraph.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working in secure areas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and coordinate effectively with DoD, military, civilian, and industry partners.
  • Strong initiative, originality, and creativity while working with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel within the Program’s Area of Responsibility (AOR) using air and ground transportation.

Clearance Requirements

  • Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
  • Ability to maintain eligibility for access to SAP information.
  • Willingness to submit to a polygraph.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working in secure areas.
