Responsibilities
- Collaborate in a team-based environment to test and evaluate systems against security requirements to assess potential risk.
- Develop testing methodologies guided by vendor system documentation.
- Review hardware description language to identify potential threat vectors using functional and working knowledge.
- Assess hardware and software-based cross-domain systems for security compliance with strict DoD requirements.
- Conduct analysis and testing to uncover vulnerabilities, identify exploits, and develop attack methodologies for various cross-domain systems.
- Apply domain knowledge to address problems of moderate scope and complexity and contribute to solutions.
- Create reports from hands-on testing and brief stakeholders on findings.
- Conduct research in hardware-based filtering technologies to broaden departmental understanding and support business needs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in electrical or computer engineering
- Experience with VHDL or OpenCL firmware programming
- Experience with HDL verification techniques, including SystemVerilog, OVM, or UVM
- Experience analyzing and executing test plans and procedures
- Experience developing or analyzing technical documentation
- Knowledge of implementing Linux operating systems, including Red Hat
- Knowledge of an FPGA device, including Xilinx, Intel, or Microsemi
- Secret clearance
- Associate's degree
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of hire date, including Security+ CE, CYSA, SSCP, or GSEC Certification

Compensation
Salary range for this role is USD 61,900 to 141,000 per year. Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required.
