Vantor Inc. in Westminster, CO is seeking a Staff Cloud Security Engineer to own the operation of security applications and services, embed security into infrastructure design, and collaborate with IA and DevOps to keep security upfront and active throughout the system lifecycle. Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain multiple security applications and services in a cloud based environment that uses CI/CD practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, automated pipeline, and infrastructure issues related to security services.
- Build, maintain, and monitor configurations of security tools.
- Develop effective security monitoring, alerting, and metrics from log aggregators and data collectors.
- Serve as a collaborative conduit between security focused and development focused teams.
- Provide configuration and vulnerability management support for production applications and custom code.
Requirements
- U.S. citizen with an existing SECRET security clearance and the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI access, with a Counterintelligence Polygraph required after SCI access is granted.
- CompTIA Security+ or other DoDD 8140 certification.
- Willingness to work 90 percent or as needed in a secure environment with some on call or after hours onsite support for customer missions.
- Five years of DevOps, software, or infrastructure engineering experience and a Bachelor’s degree; four additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- Ability to quickly learn and use a wide variety of open source technologies.
- Cloud service experience.
- Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes or equivalent technologies.

The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $102,000.00 - $136,000.00 - $149,600.00 annually.
