Sr. Principal/Principal Cybersecurity Analyst - 19061

On site in Roy, Utah, this Senior Principal and Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst role concentrates on designing, integrating, and maintaining Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS), conducting risk assessments and Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) activities, and leading security testing to ensure compliant data transfer across classified networks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the cybersecurity program for all assigned information systems and perform related security tasks.
• Lead regular audits and continuous monitoring across all security controls and configurations to strengthen the information system security posture.
• Assess systems and networks within the enclave to identify deviations from approved configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
• Analyze security requirements to confirm they meet expectations and propose additional safeguards where appropriate.
• Drive adoption of applicable government policy, advise on process tailoring, and document process activities.
• Establish and supervise rigorous program control processes that mitigate risk and support system Assessment and Authorization (A&A), including process support, coordination, security certification testing, documentation, investigations, hardware and software lifecycle actions, and emerging technology research.
• Lead the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by accrediting authorities, from pre-test preparations through test participation, results analysis, and reporting.
• Document A&A and inspection findings, along with corrective actions, and coordinate with the security team to respond to the responsible cognizant authority.
• Prepare, review, and submit A&A artifacts such as the System Security Plan, Risk Acceptance Report, Security Controls Traceability Matrix, and Plan of Action and Milestones for approval.

• Candidates must meet the U.S. Government 8140 cybersecurity requirements (722), examples include Security+ CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP.
• Must hold a current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at minimum, including a closed investigation dated within the last six years, or be enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program to be considered.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs as a condition of continued employment.

Compensation

Primary level salary range: $98,400 to $147,600 per year

Secondary level salary range: $122,800 to $184,200 per year

Because the role involves classified work, there are no remote work options. Candidates should be prepared to work on-site in Roy, Utah.
