Sr Lead Cybersecurity Architect
Job Description
Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect supporting Consumer & Community Banking Trust & Security, focused on high-quality cybersecurity solutions for software applications and platform products.
Responsibilities
- Lead evaluation of existing cybersecurity principals, processes, and controls; assess new technology using established standards and frameworks, and influence peers and decision-makers to adopt advanced solutions when appropriate
- Apply enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate cybersecurity risk analysis and control assessment; validate AI outputs and handle data according to sensitivity and security requirements
- Provide ongoing technical guidance and direction to business partners and technical teams, including contractors and vendors; serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more focus areas
- Partner with stakeholders and senior business leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerability
- Contribute to the engineering community by advocating firm-wide Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) frameworks, tools, and practices
- Drive reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted security validation within SDLC and toolchain routines to improve control testing, remediation quality, and traceability/auditability aligned to resiliency expectations
Requirements
- 5+ years of applied experience plus formal training or certification on cybersecurity architecture
- Hands-on practical experience delivering enterprise level cybersecurity solutions and controls
- Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in cybersecurity architecture workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity
- Ability to assess and validate AI-assisted security recommendations before adoption; escalate uncertainty and ensure outcomes align to security, resiliency, and auditability expectations
- Advanced expertise in one or more programming language(s) and/or applications, with advanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes across one or more technical disciplines (including examples such as public cloud, AI/ML, and mobile)
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend solutions for the future state architecture
