Special Agent: Cybersecurity/Technology Expertise
Job Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation seeks a Special Agent specializing in cybersecurity and technology to conduct investigations and protect national security through specialized training. This onsite role is based in Omaha, Nebraska and requires a bachelor’s degree, U.S. citizenship, the ability to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance, and willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out investigations into potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
- Demonstrate judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability to meet investigative demands.
- Establish and sustain effective liaison with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
- Maintain physical fitness to meet the readiness requirements of law enforcement duties.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
- Must be willing to travel as required.
- Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Salary
The position offers a pay range of $103,326.00 to $133,200.00 per year, with salary determined by base pay, locality, and availability pay.
