Salary and Benefits

Pay level for this position: $103,326.00–$133,200.00 per year.

Salary is commensurate with base pay, locality pay, and availability pay.

Major Duties

  • Plan and conduct investigations into potential violations of federal law, cybersecurity, and public safety.
  • Apply judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet investigative demands.
  • Establish and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
  • Maintain the physical fitness level required to perform law enforcement duties.

Key Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance.
  • Must be willing to travel as required.
  • Must meet the FBI’s employment eligibility requirements.

Education

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university, preferably in computer science, engineering, data science, information technology, or a related field.
