Special Agent: Cybersecurity/Technology Expertise
Job Description
This FBI role leverages cybersecurity and technology expertise to investigate cyber threats and national security cases, with specialized training and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute investigations into potential federal law violations, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
- Apply sound judgment, adaptability, and resourcefulness to meet investigative demands.
- Develop and sustain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
- Maintain the physical fitness required to perform law enforcement duties at the necessary readiness level.
Requirements
- Must be a United States citizen.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
- Must be willing to travel as required.
- Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Location
New York, NY (onsite).
Salary
USD 103,326 – 133,200 per year. Salary is commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay.
