Special Agent: Cybersecurity/Technology Expertise

As a Special Agent with cybersecurity and technology expertise, you will operate at the intersection of investigation and technology to counter cyber threats. The position emphasizes collaboration with a broad network of law enforcement partners at federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels and requires maintaining fitness to meet duty demands.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct investigations into potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety.
• Apply judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability to meet investigative demands.
• Develop and sustain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
• Maintain a level of physical fitness to support readiness for law enforcement duties.

Requirements

• U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.

Education

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university, with a preferred focus in computer science, engineering, data science, information technology, or related fields.
