Special Agent: Cybersecurity/IT Expertise

The FBI seeks a Special Agent with cybersecurity and information technology expertise to investigate cyber threats and safeguard national security, drawing on information security and SIEM experience to support investigative work and public safety.

Salary

USD 103,236 - 133,200 per year

Education

Master's degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute investigations into potential violations of federal law, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
• Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet investigative demands.
• Develop and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
• Maintain the physical fitness required to perform law enforcement duties.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Eligibility to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance is required.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Must meet the FBI Employment Eligibility requirements.
• Hold a master’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university.
