Job Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation seeks a Special Agent with cybersecurity and information technology expertise to apply information security, SIEM analytics, cyber defense, and threat assessment to federal investigations and national security efforts. This onsite role is based in Philadelphia, PA, with a salary range of USD 103,236 to 133,200 per year and requires a master’s degree or higher.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute investigations into potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
- Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability to meet investigative demands.
- Establish and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
- Maintain the physical fitness required to perform law enforcement duties.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Eligibility to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance is required.
- Willingness to travel as mission requirements dictate.
- Compliance with the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
- A master’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university.
