Job Description
An FBI Special Agent role centered on cybersecurity and information technology, dedicated to investigations, threat detection, and safeguarding critical systems that underpin national security. This full-time position is based in San Antonio, Texas and is onsite, with travel expectations as required to support investigative responsibilities. The role demands U.S. citizenship, the ability to obtain Top Secret SCI clearance, and a master’s degree or higher.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct investigations into potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
- Apply sound judgment, ingenuity, and versatility to meet diverse investigative demands.
- Establish and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
- Maintain the physical fitness level required to perform law enforcement duties.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
- Master’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university.

Salary
Pay level for this position: $103,236.00 - $133,200.00 per year. Salary is commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay.
