Special Agent: Cybersecurity/IT Expertise
Job Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation seeks a cybersecurity and IT oriented Special Agent to lead investigations and defend national security through cyber operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead investigations into potential federal law violations, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
- Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability to meet investigative needs.
- Establish and sustain effective collaborations with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
- Maintain the physical readiness required to perform law enforcement duties.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Eligibility to be employed by the FBI in accordance with agency requirements.
- Master's degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university.

Compensation
- Salary range: $103,236.00 to $133,200.00 per year
- Salary is commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay
