Senior Penetration Tester / Red Team Consultant

Inabia Software & Consulting Inc. seeks a Senior Penetration Tester / Red Team Consultant to support the Port of Seattle with primarily remote engagements and occasional onsite meetings in Seattle.

Responsibilities

• Perform enterprise internal and external penetration testing
• Deliver Red Team and adversary simulation engagements
• Conduct Active Directory and Entra ID security testing
• Run Azure and Microsoft 365 security assessments
• Execute network, web application, and API penetration testing
• Assess VPN, SSO/MFA, and remote-access security controls
• Carry out privilege escalation and lateral movement activity
• Validate vulnerabilities, perform exploitation, and complete post-exploitation activities
• Follow engagement approaches aligned to NIST SP 800-115, MITRE ATT&CK, and OWASP methodologies
• Produce technical findings with remediation recommendations and present results to clients

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on penetration testing and offensive security experience; ideally 5+ years
• Proven experience with enterprise internal and external penetration testing
• Experience conducting Red Team and adversary simulation activities
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID security testing
• Ability to assess Azure and Microsoft 365 security
• Competence across network, web application, and API penetration testing
• Experience testing VPN, SSO/MFA, and remote-access security
• Background in privilege escalation and lateral movement techniques
• Experience with vulnerability validation, exploitation, and post-exploitation
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-115, MITRE ATT&CK, and OWASP methodologies
• Strong technical reporting, remediation recommendation development, and client presentation skills
