Job Description

Senior Penetration Tester at S1T coordinates and executes penetration testing across Cloud, Web, and Network environments, engaging directly with customers and coordinating across cybersecurity teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support the technical delivery of penetration testing across Cloud, Web, and Network environments, including scoping, test plan development, and hands-on testing to validate security controls.
  • Participate in customer interactions, including planning sessions, kickoff meetings, and debriefing discussions to align objectives and expectations.
  • Collaborate with other cybersecurity teams as needed to ensure coordinated findings, risk assessments, and remediation guidance.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with a structured approach to planning, evidence collection, and reporting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate technical concepts, impacts, risks, mitigations, and remediation guidance to diverse stakeholders
  • Advanced experience with common penetration testing toolsets across multiple environments
  • Ability to perform penetration testing with minimal reliance on automated tools, emphasizing manual techniques and analytical reasoning
  • Experience working in a large government or military environment
  • Expert-level understanding of networking protocols and web application architecture
  • Strong familiarity with Java and .NET based web applications
  • Expert-level familiarity with both Windows and Unix operating systems
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant penetration testing experience
