Senior Lead Information Security Analyst

This hybrid role in New York, NY supports the IAM Strategic Enablement & Adoption team at Wells Fargo, partnering with business and engineering stakeholders to drive real-world IAM outcomes, coordinate validation work, and turn customer themes into actionable roadmap and delivery improvements.

What you’ll do

• Work with Lines of Business, application teams, and IAM product owners to drive adoption and effective use of enterprise IAM services.
• Translate business workflows, dependencies, and access requirements into IAM-aligned solutions that match real use cases.
• Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate IAM solutions meet business requirements.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex IAM issues, assess business impact, and coordinate timely resolution across IAM, Cybersecurity, operations, and application teams.
• Collect and synthesize customer feedback, adoption data, and access pain points, then provide actionable recommendations for IAM product and engineering teams.
• Influence product roadmaps, backlog priorities, process improvements, and communications using business impact, risk, and user experience considerations.
• Provide senior-level consultation on IAM controls and policy requirements, including least privilege and zero trust principles across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
• Prepare executive-ready updates covering adoption progress, customer themes, risks, decisions, dependencies, and recommended actions.
• Collaborate with peers, senior leaders, and cross-functional partners to resolve issues, deliver strategic initiatives, and improve the end-to-end IAM customer experience.

Using AI tools in the work

• Demonstrate proficiency using AI-assisted development and analysis tools, including GitHub Copilot and approved code-centric agents.
• Leverage AI to accelerate system design, coding, testing, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Apply technical judgment to validate and integrate AI-assisted outputs into solutions.
• Account for model limitations, security risks, and operational considerations, and apply AI responsibly in development and production environments.
• Ensure AI usage aligns with security, compliance, privacy, and ethical standards.

What you bring

• 7+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 7+ years of information security experience with a strong focus on Identity and Access Management.
• Experience leading IAM onboarding, migrations, adoption, UAT, or transformation initiatives in a large, complex organization.
• Knowledge of authentication, identity governance and administration, privileged access management, multifactor authentication, directory services, API access management, and identity analytics.
• Experience working across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments, including Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Active Directory.
• Demonstrated ability managing senior stakeholders, influencing without direct authority, and translating technical concepts into clear business language.
• Experience resolving complex, cross-system IAM issues in high-pressure, business-impact situations.
• Strong executive communication, facilitation, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry and familiarity with Agile or product-led delivery environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with geographically dispersed teams.
• Ability to support time-sensitive business escalations and major IAM deployments as needed.

Compensation: $191,000.00 - $305,000.00 per year. Salary range is determined by location, and you may be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights, or other long-term incentive awards.
