Role Summary

Responsibilities

• Contribute to designing and delivering secure, high-quality engineering solutions for Alphabet's multi-cloud infrastructure, taking ownership of defined features and components.
• Implement cloud security controls and maintain clear, well-lit paths that balance developer velocity with security requirements.
• Work with cross-functional partners to integrate and support the enforcement of security controls within assigned project scopes.
• Identify technical improvements to existing security controls and contribute to the refinement of security standards across cloud initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with security assessments, security design reviews, or threat modeling.
• At least 2 years of experience in security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols.
• At least 2 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose programming languages.
