Red Team Penetration Tester (TS/SCI REQUIRED)
Job Description
DirectViz Solutions, LLC seeks a Red Team Penetration Tester III with active TS/SCI clearance for on-site work in Dahlgren, VA, with compensation in the range of USD 133,000 to 157,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and document complex red team operations and penetration assessments.
- Simulate advanced persistent threat behaviors to evaluate enterprise defenses.
- Develop and utilize tools such as Metasploit, NMAP, Kali Linux, and Cobalt Strike to support engagements.
- Conduct exploit development and scripting to mirror threat actor capabilities.
- Identify gaps in security tools, processes, and defensive technologies.
- Work across Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.
- Use Active Directory to model lateral movement and privilege escalation scenarios.
- Program or script in at least two languages (examples: Python, C++, Java, Rust, Assembly, C#).
- Collaborate with Blue Teams and SOC personnel to communicate findings and remediation recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Cyber Operations, Cyber Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics with a CS concentration, or equivalent.
- CSSP Auditor certification.
- OSCP certification.
- OSCE certification.
- OSEE certification.
- OSWP certification.
- Seven years of full-time experience conducting penetration testing or offensive cyber operations.
- Experience developing and using penetration tools such as Metasploit, NMAP, Kali Linux, and Cobalt Strike.
- Experience mimicking threat behavior.
- Experience with multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS).
- Experience utilizing Active Directory.
- Experience in exploit development.
- Experience identifying gaps in tools and development techniques.
- Experience developing with at least two scripting or programming languages (examples: Python, C++, Java, Rust, Assembly, C#).
- TS/SCI clearance.
