Manager, Cybersecurity

Manager, Cybersecurity at Boston Consulting Group Platinion leads cybersecurity consulting engagements, strategy development, and transformation initiatives for clients worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical experts with deep cybersecurity expertise that informs innovative client solutions.
• Drive innovative cybersecurity approaches and tailor them to each client's context.
• Act as change agents, aligning and onboarding teams to implement new cybersecurity processes and tools, guiding organizations through complex transformations.
• Collaborate effectively as interdisciplinary team players, building alignment with cross-functional stakeholders and existing security teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on cybersecurity consulting or cybersecurity management experience leading teams of five or more in diverse sectors.
• BS degree in cybersecurity, information systems, mathematics, natural sciences, business management, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience or extensive knowledge in areas including:
  • Developing cybersecurity strategies or policies
  • Quantifying and managing cybersecurity risk
  • Leading security assessments
  • Designing, transforming, implementing, and operating cybersecurity programs
  • Developing security architectures
  • Integrating security into applications and systems
  • Implementing cloud security
  • Managing cybersecurity risk from third parties and the supply chain
  • Designing and implementing identity and access management
  • Developing and upskilling a cybersecurity workforce
  • Delivering cybersecurity culture change, awareness, and training
  • Performing continuous monitoring using SIEM, APT hunting, and UBA
  • Designing and implementing vulnerability management and conducting vulnerability assessments
  • Penetration testing, incident management, BCP, and DRP
  • Broad knowledge of cybersecurity technologies across the lifecycle
  • Working knowledge of at least two frameworks: NIST CSF, C2M2, NIST SP 800-53 and companions, ISO/IEC 27000 family, Cloud Security Alliance CCM

Compensation

• Base salary: USD 190,000 per year
• Eligible for annual discretionary performance bonus
