Job Description
CGI Group, Inc. is seeking a senior security engineer in Washington, DC on a hybrid basis to serve as the enterprise technical authority for advanced cybersecurity engineering, Zero Trust design, and security modernization across Treasury's hybrid cloud ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and optimize security architectures across cloud, hybrid, and on premise environments.
- Enforce secure configurations, baselines, and automated security controls.
- Drive engineering efforts for identity management, authentication, and access control modernization.
- Advance DevSecOps security practices and secure integration pipelines.
- Harden applications, remediate vulnerabilities, and secure API integrations.
- Deploy protections for emerging domains including AI-enabled applications and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 9+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with automation tools, cloud security tooling, and Zero Trust patterns.
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800 207.
- CISSP or Security+ certification.
- Experience with secure engineering for AI or modern application stacks.
