Lead AI and Data Security Engineer

Lead AI and data security engineering efforts for a financial services organization focused on sensitive data protection across enterprise and cloud.

Responsibilities

• Drive data protection initiatives, including building DSPM capabilities and strengthening controls for sensitive data used by AI tools.
• Own practical improvements in data security across enterprise and cloud environments in partnership with application, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Develop and operate masking, discovery, and AI data governance capabilities, spanning engineering delivery through ongoing operations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in security engineering, including 3+ years in data security.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Hands-on experience delivering enterprise data masking and secure data handling using Delphix or similar tools.
• Experience building and/or operating DSPM and data discovery capabilities with Purview, Cyera, or equivalent platforms.
• Practical DLP and data governance expertise, including Microsoft Purview and controls for AI-related data risks.
• Strong skills in scripting and automation, including SIEM integration, and experience applying data protection controls in regulated environments.
• US work authorization required.
