Federal Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Senior Technologist

Jacobs is seeking a Federal Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Senior Technologist to support cybersecurity work for buildings and infrastructure. This hybrid role is home based out of Honolulu, Hawaii, and centers on OT cybersecurity assessment, analysis, design, technical review, evaluation, and inspection, with senior technical guidance for core OT systems.

As a senior technologist on Federal Design Team projects, you will also help shape cybersecurity technology solutions across Jacobs Buildings and Infrastructure, including guidance tied to DoD risk and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of multiple Federal Design Team projects incorporating OT cybersecurity.
• Support the sales, development, and execution of cybersecurity technology solutions for Jacobs Buildings & Infrastructure (B&I), including client positioning, opportunity capture, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), and Department of Defense Risk Management Framework (RMF) specification development and implementation.
• Provide OT cybersecurity assessment, analysis, design, technical review, evaluation, and inspection for buildings and infrastructure.
• Deliver practice leadership and senior technical OT cybersecurity design guidance for SCADA, PLCs, DDCs, and other OT components.
• Consult with internal and external stakeholders with minimal direction as needed.
• Perform on-site assessments and other consulting efforts, including assessments on an as-needed basis.
• Support project teams in meeting client expectations for quality, schedule, and budget.
• Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost, and scheduling performance.
• Mentor staff associates within selected technology areas and review the work of others.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level II minimum certification requirement, such as IAM Level II certification (CISSP, GSLC, CGRC, CASP+ CE, CISM, CCISO) or the ability to obtain within 6 months of starting.
• At least 5 years of experience in the cybersecurity field, which may include governance, risk, and compliance, cybersecurity design, cybersecurity commissioning, client consulting, or other related OT cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with client development, positioning, and sales capture.
• United States Citizenship.

Compensation and Location

• Location: Honolulu, HI (hybrid)
• Annual salary range: USD 133,300 - 233,200

Preferred Experience (Ideally)

• Experience with Risk Management Framework, eMASS, and ACAS/Nessus vulnerability scanning
• Experience with STIG, SRG, and SCAP
• Client focused sales acumen
• Ability to perform assessments on an as-needed basis and support project teams to achieve client expectations for quality, schedule, and budget
