FBI Special Agent: Cybersecurity/IT Expertise
Job Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is seeking a Special Agent with cybersecurity and IT expertise to support investigations tied to information security and public safety. This onsite role is based in San Juan, PR and includes investigative work that responds to evolving threats while meeting FBI clearance, education, and fitness expectations.
As part of the FBI’s mission, you will plan and conduct investigations involving potential federal legal violations, cybersecurity matters, and public safety concerns. The position also requires strong coordination across multiple law enforcement partners and ongoing readiness to perform law enforcement duties.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety.
- Apply judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet investigative demands.
- Establish and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies.
- Maintain a level of physical fitness required to ensure readiness for law enforcement responsibilities.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
- Must be willing to travel as required.
- Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
- Must have a master’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university.

Salary
USD 103,236 - 133,200 per yearly
Pay level for this position is $103,236.00 - $133,200.00, commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay.
