Job Description

DataAnnotation seeks a Cybersecurity Technical Writer - AI Trainer to support the training of AI models focused on cybersecurity. The work combines technical evaluation with writing and problem design, helping ensure AI-generated security content is accurate, valid, and grounded in real-world threat considerations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess AI-generated cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, with a focus on real-world accuracy and validity.
  • Create and solve security-focused technical problems used to train AI systems.
  • Produce clear technical explanations and security-relevant code.
  • Deliver feedback that directly informs and improves the next generation of AI security models.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related work, including experience in government or military cyber operations.
  • Some coding experience is required, including comfort navigating and patching a codebase.
  • Fluency in English (native or bilingual level) with strong technical writing ability.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Cybersecurity certifications are a plus (examples include OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar).
