Job Description

CGI Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to tackle complex information assurance (IA) challenges. In this onsite role in Columbus, OH, you will support security engineering efforts spanning planning through integration of information systems, using electronic processes and structured methodologies to address total system and technology problems tied to IA requirements.

Role Focus

The position supports security engineering across planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems. You will help resolve issues related to cybersecurity requirements by integrating electronic processes and applying analytical approaches to workflow, organization, and planning.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized cybersecurity problems.
  • Integrate electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems or technology problems related to cybersecurity requirements.
  • Analyze information security requirements.
  • Use analytical and systematic approaches to resolve problems involving workflow, organization, and planning.
  • Provide security engineering support across planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
  • DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Must possess IT II - Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at the time of proposal submission.
  • Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 IAT level III (one of the following certifications).
  • Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 CND-IS (one of the following certifications).
  • Experience assisting with identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating the protection of critical cyber defense infrastructure and key resources.
  • Coordinate identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating the protection of critical cyber defense infrastructure and key resources.
  • Tasked as written within the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (NICE Framework).
  • Example behavioral indicator / task permutation for performing this task at an Intermediate skills proficiency level.
  • Training could meet the requirement.
  • Any one of the possible ACAS certs.

Compensation and Location

  • Location: Columbus, OH (onsite)
  • Salary range: USD 127,500 - 251,100 per year

Compensation Range Notice: CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position in the U.S. is $127,500.00 $251,100.00.
