Cybersecurity Engineer

CBRE’s Cybersecurity Engineer role supports the planning, design, development, and deployment of Lifecycle Management Solutions with a focus on risk reduction and incident prevention.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and code new applications, software, or specialized programs; adjust and update existing applications as needed
• Provide technical support for identity and access management products
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver cyber security services and best practices for on-premises and cloud-based solutions
• Assist delivery of security solutions aligned to product and project roadmaps
• Coordinate alignment between security control frameworks, deployed technologies, and achieved outcomes
• Partner with Governance teams for continual review, enhancement, and execution of compliance requirements
• Use in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to complete complex assignments and propose innovative solutions
• Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own discipline, plus broad knowledge across several disciplines within the function
• Model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and work to build consensus to reach agreement
• Contribute to customer, operational, project, and service activities across the team and related teams
• Perform work within broad guidelines and policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree
• Ability to use judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset
