Cybersecurity Cloud Subject Matter Expert
Job Description
Electrosoft is hiring a Cybersecurity Cloud Subject Matter Expert in Columbus, OH (onsite) with a salary range of USD 120,000 to 125,000 per year. In this role, you will help ensure cloud-hosted IT system designs are secure, align with DoD requirements, and support successful compliance outcomes through cloud security policy review, vulnerability assessment guidance, and deployment support.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the architecture and design of cloud-hosted IT systems are secure and meet DoD requirements.
- Review cloud security policies and provide recommendations to improve security posture, including support for protection, detection, monitoring, and response requirements for systems and data.
- Apply knowledge of current advances in cloud security engineering and cloud security threats to support deployment of programs and applications.
- Provide input across the deployment lifecycle to help ensure systems meet DoD compliance requirements.
- Guide assessment staff in conducting Cybersecurity Vulnerability Assessments for cloud hosting environments.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience achieving ATOs in a cloud environment (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- 5 years of experience achieving ATOs for compartment DoD IT systems.
- DoD Secret Clearance.
- Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at the time of proposal submission.
- Primary DCWF Work Role 521: Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support.
- Proficiency Level: Intermediate.
- Secondary DCWF Work Role 441: Network Operations Specialist.
- Computing environment: Cloud Security Certification (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP).
Technology Focus
Work will center on cloud security across OCI, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
