Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist with architecture, engineering planning, and design activities for Mission Partner Environment engineering planning and development initiatives.
  • Translate operational and mission partner requirements into actionable technical plans, designs, and integration actions.
  • Aid RMF documentation, security control validation, POA&M management, and audit readiness activities.
  • Collaborate with engineers and system owners to identify, communicate, and reduce cybersecurity risk.
  • Work with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
  • Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customers and internal leadership.

Requirements

  • Technical training and certifications relevant to the role.
  • 13+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment.
  • B.S. in Computer Science and 10+ years of experience.
  • Experience in cybersecurity engineering, RMF support, security architecture, vulnerability analysis, and risk analysis.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and DoW security policy.
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Strong communication, analytical problem solving, and technical writing skills.
  • Customer engagement skills and the ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
  • Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments.
  • Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders.
  • DoW 8570/8140 aligned cybersecurity certification or comparable professional certification.
  • Location: On customer site at Camp Smith, HI.

Salary and benefits information

The likely salary range for this position is $164,382 to $212,750 per year. This range is not a guaranteed offer; compensation will be determined by experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements and could fall outside the stated range.
