Cybersecurity Analyst | PCI

This role supports Home Depot’s PCI Compliance efforts by helping protect sensitive data and critical assets. As a Cybersecurity Analyst | PCI, you will assist the PCI Compliance Team through data gathering, analysis, cross-team collaboration, and execution of remediation guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysis (30%): Gather and synthesize data, then develop solutions by leveraging department standards to achieve established outcomes.
• Collaboration (30%): Partner with internal teams to identify trends and help resolve issues as they arise.
• Execution (40%): Evaluate information and provide recommendations based on findings to support remediation guidance.

Required Qualifications

• Eagerness to learn cybersecurity fundamentals, how Home Depot operates, and payment compliance and security topics.
• Strong technical skills and/or willingness to continuously build technical knowledge.
• Openness to learning and supporting internal PCI processes and new Payment Compliance processes.
• Motivation to collaborate with team members and engage cross-functionally.
• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or a field of study related to the role.
• Internship or real-world project experience in Cybersecurity, Technology, Compliance, or a related field.

The role reflects the knowledge, skills, and abilities typically developed through completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a related field. Minimum years of work experience: 0.

Reporting and Travel

• This position typically reports to a Manager or Sr. Manager.
• Direct reports: 0.
• Travel requirements: Overnight travel is typically less than 10% of the time.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Work is performed in a comfortable indoor environment, with any unpleasant conditions being infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, with frequent opportunities to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Compensation and Location

• Location: Austin, TX (remote)
• Salary: USD 80,000 - 120,000 per year
