Job Description

Classified Cybersecurity Analyst (Top Secret) on-site in Dulles, VA for Northrop Grumman, with 10% travel, performing RMF, A&A, ST&E, and cybersecurity assessments in a classified information systems environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring across all security controls, configurations, and operational processes to evaluate the security posture of information systems.
  • Assess systems and networks within the enclave to identify deviations from approved configurations and policies.
  • Analyze security requirements to validate them and recommend additional safeguards as needed.
  • Assist in implementing government policy, advise on process tailoring, and document process activities.
  • Operate within formal program control processes to mitigate risks and support the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems, including analysis, coordination, security testing, documentation, investigations, research, hardware release, and emerging-technology studies.
  • Facilitate formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) activities by preparing for tests, participating, analyzing results, and compiling required reports.
  • Document A&A outcomes and related coordination activities, and assemble the Risk Management Framework body of evidence.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with 0 years of relevant technical experience; OR Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant technical experience; OR Associates degree with 4 years of relevant technical experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant technical experience.
  • Candidates must meet the U.S. Government 8140 requirements (8570 equivalent) for a Classified Cybersecurity Analyst – IAM level I certification (or higher) at a minimum (examples: Security+, CND, Cloud+).
  • Candidates must have a current U.S. Government Top Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) to be considered.
